Permit Schemes - GMRAPS (Greater Manchester Road Activities Permit Scheme) - Consultation is now concluded and the final preparations to the scheme are underway. The "go-live" date of the full Permit Scheme is planned for Monday 29th April 2013. Liverpool Permit Scheme has also completed its consultation. The St Helens Permit Scheme (MAPS) went live on 10th April 2012 and is running well with few teething problems so far.

The NWHAUC Materials group have been reviewing backfill and reinstatement materials and associated suppliers in the north-west HAUC region over the past year and have developed an approval process for materials. A list of preferred materials and suppliers has been produced from this process and will be retained on the secure "Members Page" of the web-site. At present this list will be restricted to recycled materials only. For access to the detail within the Members Page contact must be made with your appropriate NWHAUC committee member.
